Let me start off our waitress our waitress Amanda was amazing. Kind, genuine, good advice and honest opinions. Incredible service with genuine hospitality.

Next food is home cooking. Down home good portions excellent flavor. It’s not healthy, although they do offer a veggie burger : ). We had chicken fried chicken, smothered steak, open faced roast beef and it was all good plus the deserts all top (brownie aka mode, peach cobbler, banana pudding, chocolate cheesecake).

Finally we walked in and an older gentlemen was playing guitar singing and interacting with the folks. Not loud not pushy just a nice down home atmosphere. He is there Tuesday and Wednesday 5-7. A great final touch to a fun evening.

“Went for the first time today for lunch, went with my mother in law who was visiting from out of town and my daughter. I can’t wait to go back!!! I had the mushroom Swiss burger with mashed potatoes and gravy, mother in law had the bacon cheeseburger with fried okra and my daughter had the chicken tenders with fries. It all came out hot!!!! Which seems to be so rare anymore when going out to eat, the burgers were tasty, the mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing, the fried okra was the best I’ve had anywhere and the chicken tenders are hand breaded per order. Service was great, quick and efficient! And the best part ever (this might seem strange to some but if you know you know) they prebussed the table 👏👏👏👏👏 if you want great service and HOT food Chubby’s is the way to go!!!”

“We were referred here by some local gentleman that ran one of the coasters. And I’m glad that he did!

Let’s start with our service. Seated right away. Our server was super sweet and fun! Getting our drinks and food was pretty quick. It was about 12:30 but the wait was way less than I expected!!

I got the Chubby’s famous burger - I left it with everything on it. It was incredibly good! There was pulled pork on it that was to die for!

2 others had the catfish special and one is a major catfish snob. He enjoyed it.

One got the tenderloin and it could have easily made 3 or 4 sandwiches! He got the homemade chips that we all sampled.

The chicken fried chicken looks amazing and there were no complaints from a semi picky eater!

Last was the open faced beef sandwich which looked really good from my view. It was tender and the taters were homemade.

All in all, it was well worth the trip and while it may be a little off the main strip- it’s close and supports a local business!
